Operating Systems such as Windows 7 and Mac OS X are now so sophisticated that ‘tinkering’ with them can be like letting a non-mechanic loose on your car thereby making it unsafe!  Although not every problem can be resolved it can often be much cheaper than going out and buying a new PC!  Historically, PCs used to increase in speed every couple of years and needed replacing but now it can be as simple as putting in more memory (RAM) or upgrading the hard disk for a larger one.

It’s a very cost effective and efficient way of making your PC or Mac last a lot longer, without having to get used to a new PC or a new operating system! Some simple tasks can be priced beforehand but an estimate will give you a far more accurate picture of the final cost.
